Connecting Josh with Your Sonos One
Saying “Alexa, tell Josh to turn on the lights” will work, as well as “Alexa, tell Josh to play the Beatles.”

Similar to any other Sonos device, Josh will handshake the Sonos One when it’s connected to the network and bring it onto the dashboard. From there it will populate Josh as a Music Player with the options to add aliases and assign it to any of the rooms in your home.

Upon Josh Micro’s release, we’ll be transitioning away from the Alexa skill to further enable our natural language capabilities around the home. At that point your Sonos One will continue working with Josh as a Music Player to provide an additional zone of audio.
