Holiday Smart Home Scene

Using your smart plugs, and connected speakers, we are going to put together a Christmas Morning scene to set the stage for opening presents. Feel free to adjust this scene to suit your family, smart home, and holiday cheer!

1. Create a Christmas Morning Scene.
2. Add any and all of the device actions that you want to include. In this scene, the Christmas tree will light up, all decorations in the front yard will turn on, and Christmas music will start playing across a few different audio zones. Additionally, announcements will be made in both the boy’s and girl’s rooms to wake up and come open presents!
3. Add your triggers. You can use automated triggers or simply activate the scene in the Josh App, but for this scene, we are going to add a few voice triggers. Simply tell Josh, “Ok Josh, Merry Christmas,” and it will make this Christmas morning a memory that you will always remember.
4. (Optional) Add a custom response for extra fun. For example, we use “Merry Christmas, [Family Name].”
