Josh.ai at CEDIA 2025: Recapping a Rewarding Week in Denver 🤝

CEDIA Expo 2025 was an unforgettable event for Josh.ai, filled with meaningful connections, exciting product showcases, and industry-wide recognition. From hosting exclusive partner events and trainings, to appearing in dozens of partner booths across the show floor, to leading conversations on the main stage panels, Josh's influence was felt throughout the week. The celebration was capped off with multiple award honors, reinforcing Josh’s role as a leader in AI-powered smart home control.

Josh.ai Events

The Josh team hosted a series of special events surrounding CEDIA 2025 to connect with and celebrate our valued partners. In the days leading up to the show, our team conducted specialized in-office sessions for our dealers and reps to achieve Technical Certification, introduced a new Advanced Certification course, and led sales trainings, giving attendees the chance to sharpen their expertise and gain deeper insights into the Josh platform.

The Josh team also held a private Rep Event, where we gave our partners an exclusive first look at all of Josh’s exclusive announcements ahead of CEDIA. With our network of reps serving as the front line of our sales efforts, it was key to recognize their impact while arming them with exciting updates before the show.

To cap off the pre-CEDIA festivities, we welcomed a select group of industry partners, reps, and dealers to an exclusive VIP Event at the historic Belcaro Mansion. Guests enjoyed an elegant evening filled with live jazz, raffle prizes, delicious food, and great company in a beautiful setting. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the relationships that continue driving Josh forward while showing our team's appreciation for the support of those who help bring Josh into homes around the world.

Josh.ai at Partner Booths

While the Josh booth was a central attraction at CEDIA 2025, our presence extended across the show floor through many of our close partners. Attendees could spot Josh in the Lutron booth, with Josh Nano featured in its custom wall-plate. At the Somfy booth, Josh demonstrated seamless shade control utilizing the new 10” Josh Touchscreen. Featured as an integral part of many other partners' demos and booths, the power of Josh was in full display showcasing the power of interoperability and intuitive control.

All of our partnerships gave attendees the chance to see how Josh fits naturally into a wide range of smart home solutions, whether it was powering specific devices or simplifying daily routines through advanced automation. With Josh being woven into so many booths across the floor, it was clear to see that Josh is a cornerstone of the modern smart home.

The Josh team was also honored to have a strong presence on the CEDIA 2025 panel stage, where our leaders helped shape conversations about the future of smart home technology.

Josh.ai CEO Alex Capecelatro shared his vision on “The (Very) Latest on A.I. and How the Newest Tools Can Transform Your Business,” giving attendees an inside look at how artificial intelligence is redefining the custom integration landscape. Director of Sales, Ryan Conway, joined “Invisible Innovation: Integrating Hidden Technology into Design,” highlighting how Josh seamlessly blends advanced functionality with design-oriented products. Rounding out the lineup, US East Technical Sales Manager, Melissa White, brought her expertise to “Smarter Homes, Simpler Control: The Evolution of Smart Home Control,” showcasing Josh’s role in making powerful technology more intuitive than ever.

These panels not only reinforced Josh’s leadership in AI-powered control, but also underscored our commitment to educating, inspiring, and collaborating with the industry at every level.

Josh.ai at Award Ceremonies

Josh.ai proudly marked another milestone year at CEDIA Expo 2025, with the team taking the stage to receive recognition across multiple award categories. The groundbreaking AI X OS was celebrated as a finalist for the CEDIA Best New Software Award, while the next-generation Josh One system processor was recognized as a finalist for Best New Hardware.

Adding to the honors, Josh.ai’s very first hardware product, the iconic Josh Micro, was officially inducted into the CEDIA Hall of Fame, cementing its legacy as a pioneering force in AI-driven smart home technology.

The celebration continued as Josh.ai’s forthcoming Josh Edge remote was awarded the 2025 CE Pro Best Award for Best User Interface in Control and Automation. Accepting these accolades in person with our industry peers underscored the momentum behind Josh.ai’s mission to deliver intuitive, elegant solutions that redefine the future of smart home control.
